Pro Touch Construction has been building in Southeast Michigan since 2009. We're based in Lake Orion, and most of our work is in Oakland and Macomb County, so we know the area's townships, the land and the local building departments.
A custom home should fit your family, your lot and your budget, not a plan picked from a catalog. Bring us your plans and we'll take it from there: pricing, permits and construction, built on your land. Don't have plans yet? We can refer you to an architect we trust.
Besides custom homes, we build additions and decks and handle general contracting for residential and commercial projects. All of that experience goes into every home we build.

How It Works in 6 Steps
1. Consultation. We talk with you about how you live, what you want in a home, your budget and your timeline.
2. Review your plans and lot. We go over your plans and walk your lot with you before anything is built, talking through site work like access, grading, driveway, utilities, and well and septic if needed.
3. No plans yet? We'll refer you. We don't draw plans ourselves, but we can refer you to an architect we trust to design your home. Once your plans are ready, we pick up from there.
4. Permits and pricing. With your plans in hand, we price your home and work through the permit process with your township or city, so you know what you're building before construction starts.
5. Construction. We build your home from the foundation and framing through mechanicals, finishes and final inspections, and keep you involved in decisions along the way.
6. Final walkthrough. We walk through the finished home with you, take care of any final punch-list items and hand you the keys.
Most of Our Clients Already Own Their Land: We Build on Your Lot
Building on land you already own is what we do most. Before we build, we'll review your lot with you and talk through the site work involved, such as clearing, grading, the driveway, utilities, and well and septic if needed, so there are fewer surprises once construction starts.

How much does a custom home cost?
It depends on the size of the home, the lot and site work, and the finishes you choose. Every custom home is different, so pricing comes once your plans and selections are set. In the first conversation, we'll talk honestly about your budget and goals.
How long does it take to build a custom home?
Typically about 10–12 months from the start of construction to move-in, depending on size, design and weather/permits. Planning and permitting come before that, and we'll talk through the timeline for your home before we start.
Can you build on my lot?
Yes. Most of our clients already own their land, and building on your lot is what we do most. We'll review your lot with you before we build so you understand the site work involved.
Do I need to have plans already?
You'll need plans before we can price and build your home. We don't do drawings or in-house design, so bring your architect's plans, or if you're just starting out, we can refer you to an architect we trust.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Pro Touch Construction is a licensed Michigan residential builder, license #26230451.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. We work through the permit process with your township or city and coordinate the required inspections during construction.
Can I make changes during construction?
Changes are often possible, but they can affect cost and schedule, especially later in the build. We'll talk through the impact of any change with you before it's made.
